Renovation work at Vendôme station

In order to offer a more fluid and friendlier access to users, exo is making substantial improvements to Vendôme station. The project includes completely rebuilding the north platform (track 3), mostly used by the 12 Saint-Jérôme train line.

This part of the project will bring many advantages:

  • Improve accessibility and safety for users by adding tactile warning tiles.

  • Enhance user experience by offering a modern, friendly, comfortable environment.

  • Add a disability-access ramp that will, in time, allow people with reduced mobility to use the Saint-Jérôme line.

The project also provides for replacing the existing west premises. This phase will take place in 2026-2027.

Work calendar for 2025

The work will proceed in 2 phases:

  1. Eastern part of the platform: April to July 2025

  2. Western part of the platform: August to December 2025

Phase 1: March 31 to July 31, 2025

Nature of work:

  • Taking down and rebuilding the northeast platform

  • Installing pipes behind the central platform

Impacts on client experience:

  • Line changes:

    • Track 3 entirely closed between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

    • Track 2 entirely closed between 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

  • Taking down and rebuilding the northwest platform

  • Installing the access ramp
