As part of its accessibility plan, the RTM Le Richelain sector has implemented a project aimed at improving the current transit service offer, working in collaboration with TARSO paratransit service, which already serves several South Shore cities and municipalities. The project involves consolidating the services currently provided by creating additional local and regional transportation options using paratransit buses.
The RTM Le Richelain sector is using TARSO’s services so that its residents in the municipalities of La Prairie, Candiac and Saint-Philippe can make use of the space available on paratransit vehicles. This initiative will give users greater access to local equipment available on the territory while also continuing to use regular transit service.
To take advantage of these new services, users simply have to register with TARSO. Then when they plan to use the TARSO service, they must reserve their seat.
It is important to note that paratransit users will be given priority at all times. The RTM Le Richelain sector and TARSO will do their utmost to make this project a success.
